Ambulance crushes Raleigh wrongful death victim

The News & Observer reported that officials will investigate the wrongful death of a Raleigh man who was crushed by an ambulance.

The man was working on the ambulance and was underneath the vehicle when a jack slipped, dropping the ambulance onto the man. After the North Carolina wrongful death, officials will be reviewing all safety and maintenance procedures.

It is unclear whether the Raleigh wrongful death victim was struck by the ambulance or the jack in the accident.

Passenger reacts to stop bus during North Carolina auto accident

The Daily Reflector reported that a 20-year-old North Carolina auto accident victim that grabbed the wheel of a bus when its driver lost consciousness acted on instinct.

The car accident happened when the driver of an East Carolina University transit bus lost consciousness, causing the bus to hit several vehicles and utility poles. The North Carolina car accident victim said the driver, a student, appeared to have a seizure.

There was one other passenger on the bus who called emergency services during the auto accident. Both of the victims suffered minor injuries during the auto accident. No other injuries were reported.
